but it still hasnt come through, so still waiting to register him with British Eventing!! It will happen I hope.

I have finally bought Duke, 15hh full connemara gelding, 5yr old and very green. Hes coming along well, soo sweet but has a weak canter, on the plus side he has an amazing technique over fences so fingers crossed he will turn out to be a little superstar for somebody.

If the little business of mine carries on i'd like to call it FX Eventing. I think that with the FX affix, you can add it to almost anything i.e Logans new show name Moon FX etc.

V short post as im so tired, ive been up since 5:30 am just so that I could hack Duke from his field to the yard for schooling later in the morning, but I had to be at the yard for work at 7am, so was a bit of a rush. He's such a darling on the roads!

I watched some of Marks top horses being viewed for sale today, they all went terribly, im not using draw reins anymore if I can get away without upsetting Tanya too much, who loves them. ALL of his horses chucked their heads up without them on and jumped badly too, none got sold today. Gives me a bit of confidence to stick to some of my own methods of schooling beause Logan goes far better than most of those horses, shame his showjumping ability doesnt quite match his lovely dressage ability but hes not a bad jumper by any means, im just very critical!!

Anyways bedtime lol!
Over and out. xXx

My feet are numb but then all of a sudden have spasms!

Ive only ridden two (Logan and Duncan) and lunged two (Duke and Nibbles) but the work never stopped. Anywho as usual im now thinking about what else I really should be doing. Im wondering what to do with Logan, my 17hh ID x TB who isn't turning out to be as good an eventer as i'd hoped, BUT this conclusion is only from training, he hasn't even had a chance so im just waiting until hes done one or twp one day events, maybe chuck him in the slighty deeper end at a pre novice. If he dosent cut im going to have to think about selling him, or at least putting him on full loan to somebody nice. I just wish i hadnt got attached to him, as ive had him for 6 years now.

Ive just got my exam results for my second year of my degree and im very surprised to have passed, I did so badly. Im hoping to re take some of the modules to make it easier for next year. I need to do some research for becoming an Equine Sport Science lecturer. Actually whilst we're on the 'future' subject, this is my rough plan for now:

Get a job as an ESS leturer
Leading up to this, get a good horse to compete on and one or two youngsters to bring on and sell. Basing them here at Mark and Tanyas for now.
Move to another event or showjumping yard with good horse.
Either base myself with another professional or find small stables to rent and develope a string of horses.

Heres to hoping, but i'll definately work hard to get it.

Im so shattered i can't even type properly! So im off to bed very soon. Night. Mwah. x
